Generation Saviour Association in its successful existence of more than two decades has been conducting various activities in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. The Association, as the name suggests, intensively works towards saving the future generations from the emerging issues related to Public Health. The scope of activities includes Tobacco Control, Child Obesity, Healthy Lifestyle etc. It diligently works on Youth Intervention Programmes and also has presence at grass root levels by organising Awareness Campaigns, Trainings and Interactive Sessions in the villages across Punjab, Haryana and UT Chandigarh.
GSA has done projects with World Health Organisation namely Commemoration of World No Tobacco Day 2007, Intervention for Creation of Tobacco Free Villages in Districts of Punjab and two more projects on public awareness and sensitisation. The association is also partnered with International Union Against Tuberculosis & Lung Disease (The Union) and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to make Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh Tobacco Free.
