As per Gauhati University notification, 10 marks out of a total of 100 marks will be allotted for internal assessment for each paper of Major or General Course. Out of 10 marks, 4 marks will be given for class attendance as shown below :

Process of Evaluation
In all papers including theory and practical, the evaluation will be 20% from continuous internal assessment and 80% from semester end examination. In order to clear a semester, a student will have to obtain minimum pass mark in internal assessment and semester end examination separately. Examination for the Bridge course will be conducted by the College and in order to clear the 1st semester a student will have to obtain minimum pass mark in this paper. However the mark obtained in this paper will not be counted in calculating his/her average semester mark.

General Rules
| 1. |
Regular attendance is must. At least 75% attendance in each subject will be necessary to quality for appearing in the H.S. Final Year Examination |

Any kind of misconduct will be severely dealt with. |

Unauthorised absence from the classes will not be entertained except on medical ground. Irregular attendance, any kind of misconduct or misbehaviour and breaking of discipline of the college may invite disciplinary action leading to expulsion from College. |

Fees
| 1. |
The tuition fees is payable from July of the current year up to June of the succeeding year @ Rs. 400.00 per month. |
| 2. |
Tuition fees will be received at the college cash counter and must be paid before 10th of each month failing which a fine of Rs. 2/- per day will be charged. |

Student failing to pay fees for three consecutive months will have their names struck off from the class register. |

Admission
1. To be eligible for admission into the first year class of the Higher Secondary courses students have to pass:
2. H.S.L.C. Examination conducted by SEBA/CBSE or Any other equivalent examination recognized by AHSEC/ Govt. of India
3. Student from Board other than SEBA Shall have to produce Migration.
Registration
Students, who are admitted into H.S. First Year Class, Will have to fill up a Registration Froms themselves to registered in the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. Students Must furnish an attested copy of mark sheet along with the Registration Form. The Students passing H.S.L.C. from the board other than SEBA should submit the Original copy of Migration Certificate also. The registration fee for the SEBA candidates and for the migrated candidate will be as per A.H.S.E.C.
College Uniform
The students must attend their class uniform peach colour shirt with Black Colour Pant/and Black colour tie for boys and same combination Top and Skirt for girls are compulsory, for winter session Navy Blue Sweater/Blazer.
Hostel
Accommodation can be provided in Private Hostel for Boys and Girls who are interested to stay in the hostel. Sufficient care will be taken during the stay in the hostel. So that the students find in the hostel a true home atmosphere fromt he hostel fee will be separate from the admission fee.
Admission procedure
1. Selection of the students will be purely on merit basis.
2. Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Academy office.
3. When admitted a student must pay the admission and tution fees or the whole session.
4. The applicant must be personally present at the time of interview for the admission.
5. The decision of the Admission Committee regarding admission will be final. The College reserves the right to refuse admission to any one without assigning any reason.
